The project

With the comprehensive solution for long-term supplier’s declarations and preference calculation, STAHL CraneSystems gained the opportunity to automate the full process in the SAP system.

STARTING POSITION

For an automated and paper-free process from the request of a supplier’s declaration to dunning, and for structured filing, STAHL CraneSystems was looking for a solution that is directly integrated in the SAP system. Ensuring the adherence to legal requirements also played an important role. Its search led STAHL to the SAP add-ons for supplier’s declarations and preference calculations.

Add-ons and functions in SAP

Through the add-ons, the following functions were added to the SAP system at STAHL CraneSystems: automated requesting of supplier’s declarations, efficient management of supplier’s declarations, full preference calculations, creation of own supplier’s declarations that can be retracted if needed. The research and selection of the individual preference rules, as well as the definition and set up of them in SAP, are also offered. In addition, the implementation of the SAP add-ons ‘supplier’s declaration supplier’s side’ and ‘supplier’s declaration customer’s side’ are offered, which optimizes SAP standard processes, automates them, and makes them paper free.
